Kenneth is a graduate of Makerere University with a law degree and is an advocate of the High Court of Uganda and all courts subordinate.

He has over 10 years experience as a practicing Advocate. He has worked with some of the top law firms in the country. His experience spans the areas of Civil and Corporate Litigation, Banking and Finance, Commercial Transactions Advising, Environment Practice especially on Climate Change, Mergers and Acquisitions, Downstream oil & gas.

Kenneth is also an External Examiner at the Law Development Centre (LDC) and a director and Board Member in a number of entities. As a litigator, Kenneth has successfully represented both local and international clients in various sectors, such as telecommunication, mining, construction, banking, and public bodies.

Kenneth is also an engagement partner with several Financial institutions and Banks on various legal matters/services.

  • St Balikuddembe Market Stalls Space & Lock-up Shops Owners Association Ltd –Vs- KCCA; – Successfully represented the market vendors against Kampala Capital City Authority regarding the market land and the vendors were awarded a sum of UGX 21,521,727,000/= (Ugandan Shillings Twenty-One Billion, Five Hundred Twenty-One Million, Seven Hundred and Twenty-Seven thousand.).
  • Confidential Client, Successfully represented a listed Company in Court to enable it convene an Annual General Meeting in Accordance with its Company Articles of Association, the Uganda Securities Exchange listing rules and Capital Markets Corporate Governance Guidelines Owing to various restrictive measures imposed by the Government of Uganda to combat the spread of COVID-19.
  • Acted as Counsel of a leading telecom Company in Uganda and its Subsidiary Tower Company in regard to registration of the leases in respect of land where the Towers are situated in Uganda.
  • Successfully acted for Housing Finance Bank, in debt recovery from some of their clients who had failed to repay their loans worth Billions of Shillings.
  • Confidential Client; – successfully advised a client on Corporate Governance and tax compliance on its Cassava Value Addition Project in Kenya which is worth Hundreds of Millions of Dollars, especially on its Pharmaceutical start plant, Animal feeds, glue, manure and bio fuels.
  • Confidential Client; – Successfully advised a downstream client in the oil and gas market on the implication of contracts worth millions of dollars for the EN590-10PPM with the sanctioned suppliers.
  • Confidential Client,- Successfully advised a downstream Client in the downstream oil and gas sector on its Corporate governance and restructured its operations within the East African countries.
  • Confidential Client, successfully litigated for a foreign lender to recover a sum of USD 1,700,000/= from a Ugandan Company which had failed to repay its debts.
  • Confidential Client, Successfully represented a Foreign financial institution in recovering money from various entities in Uganda.
